tingling in the back of my neck

Hello All,
I am wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar to a new symptom i seem to be developing.
I have been relatively pain free for a few months after my doctor prescribed a new anti-inflammatory. Recently, however, I have noticed that the pain, nausea and swollen feeling in my neck has returned on a pretty regular basis. For the first time, it seems that my symptoms-- the first sign that it is going to be a bad day-- begin with a profound numbness/tingling across the back of my neck. i haven't had that before. My hands and fingers have felt tingly and numb occasionally, but never this.
Does anyone else experience numbness/tingling in the neck and upper back?
