Curious if Other Lumbar Fusion Patients Experience This?

Hi Gang!

I am curious to see if any of you who' e had lumbar fusion involving the L4-S1 vertebra experience this symptom.  I've noticed if I'm in a slight to moderate bend forward, I feel a sharp bolt of pain that extends from my lumbar spine up into my right ear.  It freezes me up for a few seconds, and I have to stand straight very slowly because I feel "stuck".  It was discovered on my last CT scan that I have DDD as well as a new (but small) herniation at L3.  Thanks in advance to those who take the time to share their insights!
