Pain medication without acetaminophen?

i just got out hospital for being jaundice.  I was told not to take my Norco.  So what pain medication is there that does not contain Tylenol?  I know my doctor will know Tuesday when I see him but usually he will put me on whatever I ask for.  Any suggestions?

  • I know OxyContin often has nothing like Tylenol in it. The ones I had were an extended release formula. Your doctor can find one for you I'm sure.

44goingON75 - Yes, there is a version of blended version of hydrocodone without acetaminophen.  It is called Vicoprofen, which  contains a combination of hydrocodone and ibuprofen (Advil).
