the trial procedure

i am scheduled to have the trial done June 6 by my pain Doctor. In the last 3 years I have had many epidural blocks, too only last maybe a month the longest. I have osteoporosis all over very bad, and my surgery would consist of p,ages, rods, screws, and fusing. I have already had 1 lower back surgery where they went in and scraped the Spurs off. But with my osteoporosis  being so bad, I am having to do the forteo injections everyday, taking my vitamin d and fosamax. My pain levels are always between 7-10. My orthopedic dr and neurosurgeon were ready to precede with the surgery. My pain Mgmt dr was the one who suggested the injections and the stimulator. Of course when I told the neuro dr., he was in complete agreement to have it done. I'm still confused why neither one of them offered that choice. My interest in this is, how do you function after the trial for 7 days? I have read so many different ones and am seeking I guess detail from start to end. Some posts I've read I almost want to back out. I hope I can receive some information about this. Thank you, tthompson2017

After my 5 days on the scs trial, I missed it a lot when they took it away. The pain came back in a strong way. It only took minutes.
