Eileen de Oliveira

hello, I had L3/L4/L5/S1 decompressed with a coflexor  put in instead of fusion. Spinal Stenosis and Arthritis causing severe pain in both legs. So far so good but I also have to have both hips replaced in September due to hip dysplasia since birth (which I was unaware of) and severe arthritis. My leg pain is gone but my hip pain remains. I am at this time not on any pain killers due to running out of them from my dr. If I want more I must go back to my pain specialist.

    hello edeoliveira!

it seems good to be referred to pain specialist!

september, for your hips replaced surgery, seems a long way off to endure continued pain.

my pain management doctor has helped my pain issues to lessen by half.
he also monitors my situation with more awareness than my primary doctor was able to do. (thus the referral!)
