Long term neck pain

hello
My daughters 16 and she's sporty training 13hrs a week in the swimming pool she has had bad neck pains for about 2 years, I've taken her to the doctors to try and find a reason with no success they say somethings wrong but it's never gone further. She has had x-rays and lots of physio and after physiology she says she feels improving then suddenly returns to normal. However the bone at the top of her spine is very big and has grown bigger than normal. She use to have the pain just whilst training now she has it on a day to day basis, she is always making round motions with her neck to try and release pain. Do you have any ideas of what I can do to help ?
