What is this?
Reginald Davis, MD, FACS, Baltimore, MD, 21204
I am a Board Certified Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgeon residing and practicing in Baltimore County. Since receiving the entirety of my medical education and residency training from Johns Hopkins, I have dedicated my career to caring for the residents of the Greater Baltimore metropolitan community and surrounding Mid-Atlantic Region.
My philosophy is simple. I strive to render to my patients the best care possible; this with unsurpassed expertise and compassion. Maintenance of superlative expertise requires that I constantly update my knowledge base including attending numerous national and international spine meetings each year. The compassion component is easy for a surgeon whose roots are in small town midwest.
My areas of special intellectual interest and clinical expertise center around minimally invasive techniques. The use of the operating microscope, state of the art technologies, and in some instances, computer assisted navigation allows me to deliver to my patients the best solutions to their spine issues with the least amount of invasion.
I have been involved extensively in the development of innovative spine surgical techniques and new technologies. Frequently I am asked to relate my experiences to other surgeons, both from the podium at major meetings, and in smaller local teaching seminars. I have also written several book chapters on a variety of spine related topics.
I am proud to be part of a larger community, the GBMC, with a larger mission/vision "to provide medical care and service of the highest quality to each patient leading to health, healing and hope" and to be the preferred medical center in Maryland with the guiding principle that "the patient always comes first".
