Dr. Ed Atty is a Board Certified Physiatrist and Pain Specialist who specializes in the treatment of back pain, acute pain, chronic pain and sports-related injuries. Dr. Atty focuses on restoring function to the patient. In addition, he treats patients with musculoskeletal disorders, arthritis, tendonitis, spinal cord injuries, or even patients with brain injuries.

As a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician, Dr. Ed Atty has the specialized, multidisciplinary training that enables him to not only accurately diagnose the cause, but tailor a treatment plan to alleviate the pain as well. The PM&R treatment approach emphasizes comprehensive care. PM&R Physicians, like Dr. Atty, take the whole person into account and treat the patient not just the symptom.

Dr. Atty is a Co-Medical Director of McLaren's Medical Rehabilitation Center as well the Medical Director of Interventional Spine/Pain Fellowship at Michigan State University.
