The University of Kansas Hospital Marc A. Asher, MD Comprehensive Spine Center offers the region's most advanced spine care program to patients suffering from back pain and spinal disorders. The multidisciplinary team of experienced specialists offers clinical and complementary care in one convenient location.
The Spine Center was designed with patients in mind. This new model of care brings relief and support to those who have suffered from back pain for years, as well as those who recently have been injured. Patients will receive the most advanced treatment options, including non-surgical therapies, minimally invasive procedures and more extensive surgical procedures. Those undergoing spine treatments or surgeries will receive pain management and pain psychology services.
The multidisciplinary team includes a dedicated spineologist and experienced specialists in: Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Rehabilitation medicine, Anesthesia, Neurology, Psychiatry
The region's only spineologists, physicians who specializes in spine care, lead the care team and evaluate each patient's condition and medical history. State-of-the-art technology is combined with the latest amenities for patients and their families.
