Alicia Silva, MSPT, founded Expect Fitness in 2003 with the goal of educating women about health and fitness through publications, workshops, seminars and individual consultations/rehabilitation. Alicia has over eight years experience treating adults with various orthopedic conditions, with a special interest in women’s health. She has developed community education and wellness programs and currently treats patients part-time while developing new educational resources for women. She is also the author of Preventing and Managing Back Pain During Pregnancy, a book designed to help pregnant and post partum women manage this common problem.

She received a Bachelor of Health Sciences from Boston University in 1996 and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Boston University in 1998.
