Lisa has been a licensed Occupational Therapist since 1982, and a certified hand therapist since 1991. Prior to opening her own clinic in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Lisa was on staff at a rehabilitation center in Chicago. A back injury and traditional therapy left her with constant back spasms and sciatica, leading her to search for alternative treatments.
She became familiar with and eventually certified in John Barnes Myofascial Release (MFR) therapy after it provided the relief she needed to return to work. Since then, Lisa has taken all of John Barnes Myofascial Release courses, assists with the MFR courses throughout the United States and mentors numerous other therapists in his techniques. She is on staff at Lake Forest Hospital Center for Rehabilitation and as of June, 2006 is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. Lisa can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
