Doctor Deardorff is a Clinical Health Psychologist in a multi-disciplinary orthopedic private practice in Beverly Hills, California and an assistant clinical professor at the UCLA School of Medicine. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Washington State University, did an internship at the University of Washington Medical School, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in behavioral medicine at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, Past-President of the American Academy of Clinical Health Psychology. He has published 5 books and numerous articles in the area of health psychology.
