Dr. Ralph Rashbaum is a co-founder of Texas Back Institute and concurrently founded one of the first back schools in the United States. Dr. Rashbaum received his Medical Degree from Chicago Medical School and completed an internship and surgical residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. Dr. Rashbaum finished his second residency at the University Hospital of Cleveland and received post-residency training in the Spinal Cord Injury Unit. Following his residency, Dr. Rashbaum’s completed his Spine Fellowships with Dr. Richard Rothman and Frederick Simone at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and Dr. Henry Bohlman in Cleveland, OH.
Dr. Rashbaum prides his practice on taking the steps necessary to achieve appropriate and predictable outcomes for his patients. He is intricately involved in the Texas back Institute Spine Fellowship Program and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received the Volvo Award for low back pain research.
