Dr. Andrew Block, PhD, Plano, TX, 75093
Andrew Block, Ph.D. joined Texas Back Institute as a Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Block serves as the Director of the Division of Behavioral Medicine, and the CoPE chronic pain management program and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.
Dr. Block earned his undergraduate degree from Haverford College in Pennsylvania. He then completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Applied-Experimental Psychology at Dartmouth College where he was a Clinical Intern in the Behavioral Medicine Unit at Dartmouth Medical School. Dr. Block’s fellowships include work at Dartmouth, Indiana University, a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Neurobehavioral Science from Duke University Medical Center and Bio-Behavioral Sciences with the National Institute of Health.
