I believe that there is a strong connection of body and mind in both the assessment and treatment of pain. I encourage patients to fully understand and treat their medical conditions while simultaneously taking steps to gain self-control over both the pain itself, and the effects of pain on their lives.

What Patients are Saying About Dr. Andrew Block
These ‘strangers’ were becoming my friends, and they knew exactly how I felt and what I was going through... It didn’t take me long to figure out that the staff really cared about me. What I liked the most was how all the staff [and Dr. Andrew Block] was on the same page; they worked together toward a common goal. My pain level was down, and my other health problems had actually gone away,. I would recommend the program to anyone. Give it a chance! You get out of it what you put into it. I kept telling the staff I wanted to graduate in three weeks. Truth is, I would have stayed another two weeks!— T.M. - CoPE (Conquering Pain Effectively), Chronic Pain Management Program & Support Group
