Subject: c6-7 bulge after shoulder surgery and scalene block

have u seen cervical herniation after a scalene block used after shoulder surgery. symptoms include right arm top of shoulder numbness and thiumb and next 2 finger numbness. started 1 week after the surgery. was entire arm and now localized to symptoms as described. mri today showed bulge in c-6-7. awaiting radiologist final response. any info will be helpful. i would like to know if scalene nerve block could have caused this?
