Chiropractic Practice Description

Our philosophy is very simple- We treat every person that comes in the office as we would want ourselves or our family to be treated. We make every effort to ensure that our care is the very best available and that each member of our staff is exceptional at what they do.

Dr. Fred is a graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University and has been in practice in Watertown since 1983. He treats many types of conditions including headache, whiplash and neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, low back pain and disc conditions, and is one of just several chiropractors in South Dakota that is a board certified rehabilitation specialist. In addition to providing patient care, he serves as a consultant providing assistance to other doctors with difficult or challenging pain-related health problems. In recognition of his contributions, in 2006 the South Dakota Chiropractors Association named him Chiropractor of the Year.

Dr. Fred is active in the community and currently serves on the Board of Education for the Watertown School District and Lake Area Technical Institute. An advocate for children, Dr. Fred volunteers his time for many community and child-related organizations. He is the past president of the board of the Watertown Boys & Girls Club, served as a child mentor through the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, and has participated in reading and literacy programs for Watertown elementary school-age children.

Dr. Deutsch practices With Kathleen Deutsch, D.C.. Dr. Kathleen is a native of South Dakota. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University and has been in practice since 1980. For the first two years after graduation she had the opportunity of practicing, researching, and teaching with Dr. James Cox, one of the leading authorities in the world on the non-surgical treatment of disc herniations and other challenging back conditions. She is one of just a handful of certified acupuncturists in South Dakota.
