Dr. Frank Pedlow is a board-certified, fellowship trained Boston Spine Surgeon, specializing in the comprehensive treatment of disorders of the adult spine. He is a member of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital, where he served as Chief of the Spine Service. A member of the North American Spine Society, Dr. Pedlow's areas of interest lie in degenerative conditions of the cervical and lumbar spine, spine tumors and spine trauma. He is a nationally recognized leader in the treatment of complex spinal disorders, including primary and metastatic tumors of the spine. Dr. Pedlow received his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1986. He completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program, as well as a fellowship in Spinal Surgery at Emory University Spine Center in Atlanta, GA. He is a Harvard Medical School faculty member and practices at both Massachusetts General and New England Baptist Hospital.
The goal of Dr Pedlows practice is to offer its patients the highest quality, most technically advanced, patient-centered comprehensive spine care by combining the individualized and personal attention of a private practice with the expertise and experience of an academic teaching service.
