Meet Dr. James B. Carr

Dr. James Carr is a fellowship trained, board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of neck and back problems in adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Carr performs minimally invasive surgery for herniated discs and cervical spinal fusions, and also performs artificial lumbar disc replacement and complex spinal reconstructions. He treats degenerative disc disease, spine disease, and scoliosis and his mission is to provide patients with the highest quality spine care by utilizing technically advanced treatment options delivered in a personalized and private setting.

Dr. Carr graduated with his Doctor of Medicine from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. During his Master's degree program, Dr. Carr ran the neurophysiology lab of Dr. Rick Delamarter at UCLA. The spinal cord research that was conducted during this time resulted in publications as well as national and international research awards.
