Had my 2nd injection yesterday - NEUROSTIMULATOR?

While the injection hurts, it helped SO FAR. The doctor said if this doesn't last he wants to put in neurostimulator things. Anyone know about them?

  • If you go to the Pain Management forum, you will see many posts. I am in the middle of an SCS trial as we speak. I've posted my experience.

    Good luck!

  • Hello! Would love to know your thoughts and experiences with the ANS-Eon mini. I am considering the trial but want to gain as much info as possible beforehand. I've read that many of the SCSs don't do much, if anything, for back pain. Articles I've read indicate that most of the pain relief is in the leg (buttocks maybe?). I have had lower spine chronic pain for over ten years as well as bad sciatica (buttocks and hips). Had fusion 3 years ago to correct kypho-scoliosis, but L4 and L5 are in really bad shape and very painful. Doc says another surgery would give me very limited range of motion and I really want to avoid it! Anyway, I hope all goes well and that you will prove that the SCS works for both legs AND BACK. Thanks and good luck!
