Just got my MRI report. I THINK I know what this all means, but I would like the opinions of those more experienced...
--- BEGIN REPORT ---
C2-C3: There is no osteophytic or discogenic compression on the spinal theca. The neural foramina are patent with a normal amount of fat surrounding the exiting nerve roots.
C3-C4: There is minimal central disc bulge without spinal stenosis. The neural foramina are patent.
C4-C5: There is no osteophytic or discogenic impingement on the spinal theca. There is mild impingement to the left neural foramen from facet osteophytes.
C5-C6: There is broad-based disc bulge with effacement of the subarachnoid space. There is severe narrowing of the left neural foramen with compression of the exiting nerve roots by uncovertebral and facet osteophytes most marked at the origin of the foramen with moderately severe similar narrowing of the right neural foramen.
C6-C7: There is mild central disc bulge without spinal stenosis.
C7-T1: There is minimal central disc bulge without spinal stenosis. The neural foramina are patent.
IMPRESSION: Spondyloarthritic changes most marked at C5-C6 with significant compromise of both neural foramina at this level. There are milder changes at C6-C7.
----- END REPORT -----
Sorry so long. Any eyes/opinions are most welcome and appreciated!
