Hello...new to the this web sight and was wondering if you folks could offer some info into my condition...I had a 3-level disc replacement in Jan-07 the doctor used the pro-c disc replacements. I returned to work in July-07, I work in a correctional center for the Illinois dept. of corrections. I fell down a flight of steps going to a disturbance and have had all of the pre-surgery pain return to my lower back. I have received several rounds of injections and have had every test know to man kind in an attempt to find out why I still have pain in my lower back. It seems that everyday my condition gets worse. Along with the fact that I can not bend at the waist, I have started to have lower neck and upper back pain around my left scapula area. Causing me to have headaches and muscle tension. I have spent time in massage therapy and seen a chiropractor and neither one can remove the pain. My neurosurgeon has not been able to offer any explanation as to why my pain exists. Does anyone have or had the same results, conditions? Is there any sight available to look at studies surrounding this type of surgery? I have looked all over and have not found a whole lot. Your help is extremely welcomed!
