Hi everyone,

Wanted to introduce myself.I come to this forum seeking support. I am having severe Radiculopathy down my left leg and foot. Much of the time my left foot feels as if it is in hot coals, particularly across the top of the foot and into the right side and big toe. I do have several lumbar issues, including multiple herniations, the most notable at L5S1. It has been a battle over the last couple of months and this support forum has been helpful in allowing me to understand more about the condition, treatment and recovery. Just reading through the threads has been very beneficial to me and the initial support I have received to my posts has been welcome and appreciated. Thank you all.

  • Hello and welcome to the forum Sportz!!! We are here to support you in your journey...and you might meet some new freinds too along the way!!
  • I also have that hot burning sensation, sometimes it's numb, other times it's like a bad sunburn and can't be touched, especially the big toe. I mostly wear crocs or some loose shoe and at night I prop a pillow at the foot of the bed under the covers to make a tent so my feet won't touch the covers. It is better now that I had a fusion, and I am hoping it will continue to improve. Sometimes it also feels like the big toe is swollen and tight and hot and other times that foot is cold, Strange!!
