Baclofen, anyone?

Hi, I hope everyone is well! It's been a while since I've posted last. I'm mostly a lurker as sustained typing can be uncomfortable for me. Anyhow, my doctor has switched me from Flexeril to Baclofen and is continuing my regime of Neurontin 800 mg 3x/day and Mobic 1x/day. I've never used baclofen before but I am relieved to get off the cyclobenzaprine because it made me feel "hungover" the next day. Blah. Does anyone have any experience with baclofen? I'm not sure of the strength yet, but I assume it will be 10 mg a day.

  • Yes, I take Baclofen tid along with Valium for my muscle spasms. It took about 4 days for me to get acclimated to the baclofen and not feel the drowsy effect. But it seems to be working ok for me. Doesn't do the trick all the time, but it has worked. I hope you find that it works for you.
  • I'm on my second day and I'm not feeling any effects from it whatsoever. The doctor increased the dose today so hopefully we'll get some relief in the coming days. Thanks for replying!
