Help, Pain Is So Bad

Just wanting to know if anyone has had this same type of problem? I have been having really bad pain in my back on the right side just up from my waist. I've been on my feet allot in getting ready for the holiday, and it feels like a bad continuous side ache. If I stay off my feet it gets better, but I am so frustrated because it keeps coming back when I try to do something. I had a double fusion with cage and screws at L3/4, and L 4/5 back in June, 2010, and had the screws removed last January. Could this pain still be from the surgery? I had this same pain allot after the surgery and then it got better.

  • I've had pain in the same area when I had a kidney infection many moons ago. Other than the pain are you otherwise feeling okay?

With the holidays, it is always a common theme that we get ourselves into doing more than maybe we should have and wind up hurting. With cooking and cleaning especially, I find that I twist and turn while holding something heavy more than I normally do. For instance, I had a huge ham in the oven and it was a challenge to get it out and on the counter without spilling the juice or hurting myself.

Okay now I am rambling. Hope you feel better soon.
