Cervical Fusion recovery & PT

I had a C5/6 fusion by Dr ABCin Chicago on Aug 2. I would highly recommend him. Four months later, I am feeling much better. The majority of pain (the horrible nerve pain) in neck, back, shoulders, etc is gone. I have been cleared for PT now. Problem is, I recently was forced to change insurance providers and unfortuantely, they will not cover anything having to do with my spine. And I dont have the funds to pay out of pocket for PT.

So I am hoping that some folks here can give me some advice and exercises. Below are some details if this helps. Thank you in advace for any input on therapy and exercises

- C5/6 fusion
- Majority of nerve type pain is gone. Now, I just have a type of discomfort and tightness (at times the tightness can be painful) that I think is normal.
- I have a decent bit of grinding when I move my head around... popping and cracking. My surgeon said that this is nothing to be concerned about... just tendons. He said that this should be addressed in therapy.
- I was told that the disks above and below are worn. They were not bad enough to remove, but the doc says I have 50/50 chance that they will need to be addressed in the future.

Thanks again!
