I've had four spinal surgeries............including one that lasted for 10 hours............I've been on SOMA for about 12 years and now it is no longer on my insurance plan!

Anyone have a good suggestion for something that is similar. I usually take 4 350mg tabs a day.

It has never made me drowsy...............but hardly anything does............I refuse any opiates and would rather double up on a stronger muscle relaxant..............

Any suggestions

  • Usually you can still get non-formulary medications for a higher price, sometimes your doctor needs to contact the insurance company. Sometimes you need to try other medications before they will allow you to have that medication.

Do you take the generic form Carisoprodol? It is not expensive at all. I used to take it and it was like 30 dollars before insurance for me.
