So glad I found this forum! I'm 27 years old and live in Australia.
I have chronic neck pain, and have had for the last 10 years. No official diagnosis - still working on that one. I'm having trouble finding a medical professional who understands my problem, and who takes my pain seriously.
I've been told all different things, from 'go home & take some paracetamol' to 'you have carpal tunnel'. Apart from wondering how they got a 'carpal tunnel' diagnosis from chronic neck pain, I haven't become any the wiser about what my problem is.
Sorry that I can't post the exact vertebrae etc that are causing my problem, but I really don't know.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one in this sitatuation and that no-one really understands what it's like for me. So I guess I'm here to meet other people in the same situation and to find out some more ways to manage my pain on a daily basis.
