I have tried suboxone for chronic lower back pain. A friend had some left over from drug related issues. I swear it was like a miracle drug. Any doctors I have talked to only give it for drug rehabilitation, what gives. Any ideas would be appreciated on how to find a doctor in the Houston area that prescribes for pain. Thanks a bunch

  • maybe it is the buprenorphine
but I wouldn't ask a PM Doc or PA about it they will give you the boot thinking you are just a drug seeker

  • My little brother took this for years trying to kick an opioid addiction. I can tell you that anyone who knows your taking this drug will assume your an addict. I'm not saying that's right at all, but that's the thought of most people. It's a tough drug to kick once you have to get off of it as well. He had horrible withdrawals. Not to mention, mentally, he has gone off the deep end. It's probably not the fault of the medicine, but I wonder about that.
