Hi Moondance

This is Jaynie from the land downunder. Im not sure if I have replied in the correct manner so please be understanding. I am new to this site.

I understand your pain so well. I have tried hydrotherapy, needles, medication and all with minimal success. I have been suffering with bilateral sciatica for over 2 years now. Sufferers seem to have researched all the current treatment available and it is interesting to see the results of many.

Personally I cannot take some of the medication as it causes drowsiness and I need to drive and be coherant for my job. Mornings and nights unbearable. Stretching seems to unlock the acute phase initially but the constant ache and stabbing sensation never abates. I have been to specialists who offer different advice but would embrace something that is going to work. I really am not sure if surgery is the answer.

This condition is one that totally interupts you from leading a healthy normal life. I have not been able to do the things I once did. Lifting and gardening and general chores are limited. Tiredness from lack of sleep and irritability due to pain is something we can do without. Really just wanted to let you know that I hear your pain and understand.

Take care and would love to hear if you have some success.
