Hi, my names Barry I am 56 and from sunny Nottingham in the UK.

My first fusion was in 1991 which was at L5-S1 which was a sucessful fusion but I had some longterm denervation damage from the operation which means I have some issues walking.

I have since had a further fusion at L4-L5 in 2012 and a laproscopic decomp in 2010. This again went well and whilst my Calf muscles are still denervated I am regulary going to the gym and generally keeping fit.

Look forward to meeting you all on the forum
