Previous surgery buddies AUGUST 2013

On August 10th it will be one year post-op for me with my three lumbar laminectomies, dura tear repair, cauda sequins syndrome
And I started the post AUGUST SURGERY BUDDIES.
So, how is every one doing one year later?
Love and hugs
Stenosis Rose

  • We were just talking about you. Susiebell, MetalNeck, Rickilis. We had a reunion last Thursday and we met at cheese cake factory in Schaumburg , Woodfield. Nice time started at 2:30 and lasted till 11:30 pm. We all need to do this sometime again. How are you doing?
  • Hi, you know me, that strong tough Stenosis Rose.
I am still having problems but just taking it one day at a time
We have "bad backs" and it will be that way for the rest of our lives
But just because it's a fact, having a bad back does not stop us from living, hoping and going on
My husband and I recently celebrated our 35th Wedding anniversary in VENICE ITALY and Greece
Sure, I was in pain, and still with numbness, weakness and severe foot drop, but I was not going to let this stop me from going to Europe.
If anything, we ALL need to encourage each other to take it one day at a time, and on those " good days" get out and live life as best we can, and then when those "bad" days come ( and they will) we just have to have hope and faith that better days are ahead.
So how are my August 2013 buddies doing?
    Love, hugs and hershey kisses
    Stenosis Rose
