recovery time for hardware c7 t1

I have a c7 t1 fusion with plate and screws back in 2009. I found out that one of the screws are fractured and probably need to get the hardware removed. Just wondering if I get this done how long is the recovery how long till I can go back to work.

  • That's a question for your surgeon, honestly. If he is just doing a revision on one level, and replacing one screw, then it could be much different than if he is redoing most or all of the vertebra, refusing and then changing the screw that is cracked.....
