foraminal stenosis at 21

I was recently diagnosed with foraminal stenosis at C3-C4 and C5-C6. Both are severe cases and all my doctors seemed baffled that it is so bad. I recently turned 21 and haven't heard or read about anyone who has this at my age. When I saw my spine specialist I asked him what it meant when it said that the stenosis was severe according to the radiologists notes. He proceeded to tell me that it was just a rating and that he would be able to decide the rating better. Needless to say he went and looked at my MRI and came back saying it was one of the most severe cases he has seen and that I could go paralyzed in my right arm.

With everything going on I really need advice from people who are going through this. I'm in constant pain that no one seems to understand.
