Hello and thanks for reading and responding. I'm 36 yrs old, healthy male, very active and in pain. 2 years ago I'm playing golf and had a migraine out of this world. Ive never had one before so I went to the chiropractor and he took an ex-ray. He said I have bulging disks and degenerate disk syndrome. He wanted me to see him 7 days a week for at least 90 days strait. $$$$$. I could not afford that or have the time to do it. I went about 2 weeks and missed a day or two each week.I haven't had a migraine since but have had many many headaches and I'm in pain 24 hrs a day.. Now my daily symptoms are extreme stiffness in neck and shoulders, numbness in left hand down to my pinky finger, sometimes pain shoots down left side from my hip down to about my knee. Sometimes I get a pain that shoots from my neck going up on my left side of head and goes behind the ear. From the second I get up till I go to bed(and even sometimes laying in bed) I have to crack my neck. Even If I crack it, and it pops 10-15 times, The pain doesn't go away it just releases it for a few minutes sometimes seconds. At times the cracks are so load and there's so many It takes my breath away. If I pop my neck in front of people everyone says wow Ive never heard anyone do that before. I really think I'm the only person that has to do this amount of cracking and there's so no relief. I tell my wife for a present all I want is a new neck. just cut it off and ill walk about without one. LOL.
I have an appoint for my family doctor on Tue and I'm going to ask for a MRI. But what do you think I should do. Go to a specialist? if so what kind. I live in the west suburbs of Chicago if anyone has some recommendations.
I don't care what I have to take or do or whatever. I just want this to go away and prevent me from a wheelchair later in life.
Thanks for you time and help,
