bone growth

I have not had a x-ray since week 6 since my surgery.I had a 2 level lumbar fusion discectomy laminectomy.fascetectomy,I have been walking every day 350 days out of 365,in the past year swimming laps in the pool and other various pool exercises.I am extremely stressed out about potentially having no bone growth after a year.has that happened to anyone here.I would appreciate any feedback on that and if so what happened next.My doctor does 2 tests one at 6 weeks one at 1 year.Pain wise I am 80 percent better but I am 41 I use to be active and I am trying to be again. My doctor knows this which is why he said he should probably remove the hardware.but abviously no fusion no removal.JUST THE ABVIOUS QUESTION HAS ANYONE HAD NO BONE GROWTH AFTER ONE YEAR LUMBAR FUSION. THANK YOU
