I had my SCS implanted a couple of days ago. While lying down on my back and side it is very uncomfortable which I expected after surgery. However I had my wife take off the bandages and I couldn't believe the size of my incision and scar for the battery? It is about 3.5" long but it sticks out about 3/8". It looks like its folded over.
The stitch job looks like it was done by a first grader. I don't give a crap about the looks what I am concerned about is how tender these scars are for years after. MY last spinal surgery was two years ago through my belly and the scar still bothers me and it was done in much more professional manner even though I believe a fifth grader could have done better.
I know these surgeons just want to finish up and get to the next surgery but come on now! If I was able I would post a pic!
I just think its wrong!
