psoriatic arthritis......just found out i have it a couple of months ago...anyone else here have it?

I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis..... I started methotrexate this past Monday.....so I have had exactly one dose of methotrexate....

I had to wait several months to start it because I just had cervical fusion of levels 5/6-7....... I wanted an artificial disk but my insurance
wouldn't cover that......

almost all of my joints hurt....shoulder...wrists....hands...fingers.......elbows....knees...hips....and my whole frigging spine......

i am facing another back surgery in December to relieve pressure on a pinched nerve......

what have you done for your psoriatic arthritis?

i have lost weight and gone on a raw vegan gluten free diet and that seems to help some but not nearly enough.. though i have lost
90 pounds it was 96 pounds but the last couple of weeks i have had a few cheats...... including some gluten and sugar....

i thought an anti-inflmmatory diet would lower my CRP level....but it actually went up from my original test.....

now i will have monthly blood tests and be on methotrexate.......

i really hope the methotrexate helps.........
