Wow

That seems like a long time to wait after a micro d to drive. I am 11 weeks post op and have been able to drive for awhile, although I don't really due to the pain. Sometimes I will drive short (5 minutes) distances to appointments etc. If it weren't for the pain, I would be able to drive.

Maybe you could clarify things with your doctor. Give them a call, double check the time restriction, and ask the reasoning behind it.

How is your recovery going? Wishing you all the best

i waited 4 months.

i waited 4 months after my multi-level fusion. sometimes people wait longer if they are on huge painkillers that can impair reaction time and alertness. i'd say it depends on what you are taking. also these guidelines are only guidelines ... some people drive earlier, some about the time that the doctors predicted, and some later.

Back is fine

I feel pretty good now. No pain since day one of surgery. It's just the numbness in my left leg really that comes and goes
