New To Forum not new to pain

Lets start 21/2 to 3 years ago, pain in my inner thigh area turns out to be stenosis of my right femur. In 1984 I had a bi-lateral core decompression of my Rt & Lt femurs. The pain stayed away for 30 years. 3 years ago I started to get pain on my right side the same pain I experienced in 1984, I had a Right Total hip replacement September 2015. Still have pain. A few months ago I started having these episodes of falling, thankfully it was in my backyard on a grassy surface. I called my PCP who suggested I call my ortho Dr. who by the way took 3 days to get back to me to say go see a neurologist. My PCP also said if my Orthopedic doctor couldn't see me soon just go to the ER. In the meantime that day I fell 5 more times. Went to the ER took X-rays and a MRI. It was explained to me I have foot drop caused by L4 L5 S1. I'm scheduled for surgery September 15, 2017. I'm in constant back pain, I cannot take Ibuprofen, interferes with my heart meds. I live on Tylenol, which really doesn't help. It was explained to me it won't fix the problem but it may help it not to get any worse. I had a EMG done a month ago, the doctor was wondering how I could still function. My right leg results were horrendous, my left leg was not as bad. Well that's my story.
