sciatic nerve pain down leg and bulge maybe progressing?

joowee40joowee40 Mississippi Posts: 308

Looking for experiences on this not expert opinion...So if I am constantly having to do stretches that get me back into place and make that horrible angry nerve settle back down, do you think it might mean my L4/L5 bulge is progressing? Can anyone tell me their experience/feelings when they went from bulge to herniated. Its like chasing my tail that I get one thing fixed and another flares up...sigh

A bulge is the precursor to a herniation. You will know if it's herniated because it will incapacitate you. Whenever my disc herniated I was bedridden for several days before it cooled off. If you do your stretches daily for many months it should ease off. Remember that you also need to take into consideration that you are injured and therefore need to adjust your lifestyle as problematic as that may seem. It can always get worse. Good Luck!
