Was curious if anyone has experienced the same situation. Back on 12/2016 I had a injury that shown mild interval worsening 2-3 mm left foraminal disc bulge at L4/ L5 with underlying contained annular fissure, resulting in narrowing of the left neural foramen. Remaining lumber spine demonstrates mild spondylosis with out significant narrowing of lumbar thecal sac, lateral recesses, or neural foramina, L4/L3 mild bulge.. I've had multiple epidurals, different assortment of medication but the pain and discomfort is still around after the epidurals wear off. As of last week, Went in for another MRI as requested by a QME and the findings came back as normal exam. Granted different MRI machines/ doctors reading, and 1 year apart. but the pain is still there and tomorrow I go in for a Rhizotomies. How can an MRI show different results and still cause similar pain and sciatic issues?
