Hello, I'm 27 years old. it happened about 13 years ago. at that time when I tap on my lower back it won't sting. But one time, I wanted to get a book from a high shelve, so when I put my hand upwards to get it, my lower back leaned and curved forward, so it was vulnerable, at that time, my brother hit me on that lower area of my back twice. I felt a stinging feeling for the first time when he hit me, after that whenever I tap that area I have that feeling. not to mention, I have other back pains and I can't sit down on chair for too long, I have to set on the chair with my legs crossed, so they aren't on the floor. did he permanently damage my lower back?

    Welcome to Spine-health

Only a medical professional can answers your questions.  It is against forum rules for members to diagnose and give medical advice.

Please re-read the forum rules to prevent this happening again.

I have added two links below to help new members with information and these also contain the forum rules.  There is lots of material to research that will give you the power of knowledge.

    Welcome to Spine Health
