OPLL in thoracic spine

hi fellow CPers, my gp told me today I have OPLL in my thoracic spine. I knew I had osteophytosis but after moving the wrong way in bed a few nights ago I felt a crunch where my bra strap would sit then it was like a fire cracker shooting intense sharp shock pain all around the right side of my rib cage, it lasted for two days. I was sent for chest X-ray and it showed multilevel OPLL, has any one else got this? I have never heard of it till today. How do you cope with it. What’s the best way you ease the pain. I was told to rest and use heat constantly, which I do anyways. Any info , suggestions to help me understand what it is would be wonderful.  Thanks heaps. Harpy
