Pain at the very right side

Hi,

Let's just start with that I had my surgery 4 years ago. I had a severe scoliosis (according to my doctor, one of the worst case he has dealt with). Got infected many times, had to undergo 3-4 more surgeries because of the infection, I was in hospital for 5 solid months and they said I was gonna be in hospital for 3 weeks maximum.

Got infected, had to have an IV. Recieved one of the worst medications that I would never ever want to get again, such as Targocid and Ciprofloxacin.

Anyways, 4 years has gone now and suddenly I feel a strange pain in the backside, but it's not in the area where the spinal goes, it's more to the right side.

Being me, obviously I Googled it and got even more panicked as I've heard people experiencing loose "parts" post surgery. I've been extremely unlucky and now I think this might happen to me.

What are your thoughts? I kind of refuse to go to the doctor to get a checkup, mainly because I don't want to hear what's going on and because I have work and I can't be away too much.

Kind regards,

Gabriel

  • Ignorance is not bliss.  Go to the doctor.

  • I would like to go to the doctor and get a checkup but I am extremely busy with work and I just wanted to ask here to see if anyone has had a similar problem.

  • A similar problem would be a pain in the right T spine area.  I sure other people have pain there, but that won't indicate what your problem is and won't help you.  I want you to get an answer.

It's a busy season.  We are all busy.  It could be nothing, it could be major.  Find out, see a doctor.  Keep us posted.
