  • Cybermarc, There is a lot of good information that you’ve received. One thing that was not mentioned is the definition of a successful spinal surgery is “ stabilization “ of the spinal column. Which means that the canal and or nerves are not impinged. It does not gaurentee pain relief! There was one comment above about numbness. That is something you do NOT want. The longer it remains numb, the higher percentage it will become permanent. I’m sure the surgeon will request all test needed to insure the best proper care and treatment. Hang in their and talk with your surgeons. .....David
