Hi everyone

Ive posted a few times on here complaining or explaining my problems but now I finally have something good to say! well i think its good.

I havent taken any pain meds for 2 weeks now, considering i was on 6 tramadol a day thats pretty good!

I have been sore but ive been getting deep tissue massage which I think has helped as I remember a time where I was in complete agony on no meds. I was hoping my energy levels would change by doing this but it hasnt really.

I have myofascial pain syndrome on the back, lower and upper (it likes to move)

Im only taking magnesium and fluxotine but other than that I havent taken any tramadol!

Saying that im on my holidays next week and may need some for the flight etc

  • ">image I'm really happy for you that you were able to get off of your meds! Yea! for you!! Take it easy and don't over do it... I hope you have continued success!
  • I hope that your pain free days continue through your holiday and beyond!

  • thanks!! Im not pain free, but im trying to cope with it! Hope it goes ok on holidays although im carrying my pills incase! lol
  • That's great that you have been able to stop taking meds. And if you were hoping that by stopping them your energy would go up, I would suggest that it will probably take a good amount of time for your body to adjust (even two weeks may not be enough time). If your energy still doesn't return, I would talk to your doctor, just to make sure something else isn't going on.

Good luck, and I hope your pain stays manageable during your holiday. And have fun.
  • That's fab news. I have been taking my pain medication for 20 years . . .
