Anybody gone to Mayo just because you were desperate for a second opinion or expert opinion on the disorder you have that has not been helped by anything you have tried??

  • I called them about 6 months ago to make an appt, because they have a wonderful back clinic, and I was told they weren't excepting any new patients for at least a year for their back clinic! :jawdrop: I have never really had a difinitive diagnosis. I have been diagnosed with facet arthrosis, and my newest MRI showed a bulging disc or two. I am waiting to see a surgeon on Nov 3rd, and am praying Im a candidate for surgery. :SS My pain has been getting worse almost every day that passes. ~X( Im counting down the days......
  • If you are from MN pm me and I will tell you where I went. The Mayo is very good here in MN, but I had my surgery else where and they did a great job.
