I had my first cervical esi on monday, sorry no good news there, same as it was prior. I was going to try to make it until monday and call the PM doc to confer with her since my next appt. is'nt until Nov 18. I missed the call but she called about 5 pm today to check on my condition. Has anyone had this kind of follow up from a PM doc? Has anyone had zero effect from a cervical esi? I have bone spurs at three levels and facet joint problems. Hope your day was better than mine. Peace....Mike

  • Hiya Michael >:D<
Yes my PM also called me today :O , but it was just to see how i was, because i have been struggling with the pain flare -up :''( . I think they only phone just to check to see how i am because im under going treatment with them :? , and are due to have injections done on the 28th :''( . I can not fault my PM team they have been wonderful, supportive and helpful and not just with the back issues i have :* .

  • I never had my pm Dr. call me. Of course I was scheduled every 1 week or 2 for injections. Usually if the first doesn't work they don't do a second but it's still early, it took 8 days until I had some relief. Take care. Charry

  • My PM doc calls me everytime I have a procedure to check on me.
  • It does make sense that they would call to follow up after a procedure. My suprise is probably due to a lousy experience at the first PM refferal, the guy was a real idiot and I refused to let him treat me. I think I have found a good PM clinic with people that really care,I consider myself lucky. Still holding out hope that the esi brings some relief. Thanks for caring and sharing...Mike
  • thankful that my PM doc is as compassionate as he is! I have been lucky and as much negative stuff that I have read on here about some other PMs it really reminds me how lucky I am. Good luck with the ESIs.

  • The pain clinic I am a patient at is very good about call backs and phone check-ups. I really trust these people and for me just the fact they are calling to see how things are going is a real moral booster.
