new to this, i have a herniated cervical disc at c7 to t1 .

im seeing a specialist on dec 4th suposed to be flying to oz for 5 weeks on dec 8th, but when i saw a dr a few weeks ago he said we re looking at surgery, i looked glumb he said oz was out, then he said lets see what the scan says thats on nov 27th , it all started in the first week of july any one any idea if i should be better by now and is oz defenaty a no go im feeling so down,

  • hi sorry im from england oz is what we call australia.i was going to see my grandson over in australia but when the surgeon looked at my x ray he said i couldnt fly all that way and i would need surgery which they would discuse with me after i had the scan ,im very worried about it all.

  • i would of guessed that oz was kansas but that isnt even close. sorry to hear your visit with grandson is postponed. i hope your surgery is sucessful and that u have a speedy recovery so u can see your gradson real soon. i will also pray for u.
  • gosh thats a long op! what is cervical stenosis and myeolpathy?were you in pain along time before you had the op or did it all come on suddenly? how did you take care of yourself afterwards? i had my scan the other day. cant wait to see the neuro' on thurs, then i will know for sure what is wrong, at the moment i have a physio' doing some streatching work on me, he seems to think it will help. well hopefully it cant do any harm. thank you for praying for me.
