Leg Numbness after a Discectomy/Laminectomy

    hi there, had my surgery this year 2016 and would like to ask if it is normal to have numbness but until one coz i had my surgery last sept 6, 2016 and its been 16 days but i noticed that my left buttocks thigh and legs on lateral area was stil numb but really, my first complaint before was my right leg and noticed that it is beginning to get better the numbness is on leg and toes only but my doctor said that during surgery he also take a look at my left because the disc also go there sequestrated to left but now the numbness and feeling of cramps can be felton the left thigh and also numbness. i feel worried about it please need some advice thank you
